• An applicant must be a member of a minority group.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

• The previous exam must have been passed with a minimum of 50% marks.
• The scholarship is available to students whose family income is less than Rs.2 lakh (pre-matric), Rs.2.5 lakh (post-matric, merit cum mean), or less.
• The Merit Cum Means Scholarship is available to students from classes I to 10. Students from classes 11 to PhD are eligible for the post-matric scholarship, and technical/professional students are eligible for the post-matric scholarship.

Aikyashree Scholarship Online Apply (Fresh Student)

• To register as a student, please visit the website of the WBMDFC or click on the following link: wbmdfcscholarship.org.
• Now click on Fresh Registration.
• You will then be able to access the student registration page.
• It is necessary for you to fill in the student information form with your name, date of birth, mobile number, bank account number, and IFSC code, as well as the name of your guardian.
• You may now enter the name of your state, city, block, or municipality.

Scheme Eligibility

• Please enter your application id, password, and academic session here and then click on the ‘Login’ button.
• Then verify with OTP.
• You will be redirected to your application dashboard. Now you can submit your application online in three easy steps.

• Please enter your current marital status and the name of your husband (if you are married).
• Enter your address, pin code, police station name, etc., by scrolling down the page.
• Select your identification proof from the dropdown menu and enter the ID number.
• On the Academic Information page, enter your academic information, such as the course name, session, year of passing, and marks obtained in previous courses.
• You must now provide the details of your current educational institution, such as the name of the institution, the name of the board, and the duration of the course.
• Then click submit and proceed.
• Bank information: You will need to provide your bank account information on this page in order to receive your Oikyasree scholarship funds.
• Please enter the name of your bank, the name of the branch, the IFSC code, and the account number of your bank.
• Now tick I agree then click on submit and proceed option.

Final Submission and Lock Application

• The next page will preview all the information you provided, now review your application.
• If all information is correct, click on verify and lock the application.
• After the application is locked you can print your application for future reference.

Aikyashree Scholarship renewal 2023-24

• Now select the Student Area option.
• Click on the link to renew your application for 2023-24.
