Oxford and Cambridge Scholarship 2023 Get Rs 400000 Apply Now

It is the mission of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI), a non-profit alumni organization, to provide the OCSI Scholarship UK 2023 to Indian students seeking admission to undergraduate, second undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in the United Kingdom and the United States. After being accepted into Oxford or Cambridge, the chosen candidates will receive up to INR 4,00,000 in financial aid as well as other benefits.

Oxford and Cambridge Scholarship 2023 Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

be a resident of India
be below 30 years of age on 1 September of the year of application for the award
The applicant must have graduated from an Indian university, if applying for a second undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree
Applicants for undergraduate courses must be school students in an Indian institution
Have been accepted to study at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford on a full-time basis
intend to pursue one of the following courses of study:
Research leading to Ph.D. degree
Postgraduate courses lasting one year (e.g. MPhil, LLM, Diploma, CASM or Part III Mathematics, MBA, PGCE, etc.)
Research-based and taught Master’s programs of various durations (including M.Sc., engineering, and medicine)
Second Bachelor’s degree as an affiliated student/senior status
Bachelor’s degree programme
OCSI cannot assist or admit students to the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford (Note – OCSI cannot admit students or assist in this process).

Note – Applicants who are expected to graduate in the year of the awards are also eligible.

Oxford and Cambridge Scholarship 2023 Benefits

Scholarships are being offered by the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India for admission to the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in the academic year 2023-24, as follows:

There is an OCSI K.K. Luthra Memorial Scholarship worth INR 2,50,000 available at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford
The OCSI Anita Banerji Memorial Scholarship is worth INR 2,000 and is available at Cambridge and Oxford Universities
There is an OCSI Nirmal Luthra Memorial Scholarship worth INR 4,00,000 available at the University of Cambridge

Emmanuel College Cambridge (India) Scholarship worth INR 2,00,000 is available from Nikhil Sawhney and Sumant Dhamija at Emmanuel College, Cambridge

One scholarship worth INR 1,00,000 is tenable only at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford, from Ritika Dhamija

NOTE: Each year, we seek to raise funds and receive other grants available by June. Any additional grants will also be available to candidates.

Scholarships awarded by Swami Vivekananda are designed to assist deserving students throughout the state with their educational expenses.
Vivekananda scholarships will boost the state’s literacy rate and create jobs at the same time.
The Swami Vivekananda scholarship initiative will be open to all students from economically disadvantaged households in the state.

Swami Vivekananda scholarship eligibility criteria

Scholarship eligibility criteria for the Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means (SVMCM) scholarship 2021 are as follows:

Vivekananda scholarship applicants must be residents of West Bengal
A Vivekananda scholarship applicant’s household income cannot exceed Rs 2,50,000 per year

A change has been made to the eligibility requirements for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship by West Bengal’s chief minister, Mamata Banerjee. The Swami Vivekananda scholarship is available to all students who achieved a grade point average of 60% on their state board exam. The Swami Vivekananda scholarship initiative previously required a minimum qualifying score of 75%.

Swami Vivekananda scholarship: How to apply

Follow these steps to fill out the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship application form for 2023:

The registration button can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
You will be redirected to a new page. Read the instructions carefully and click the confirmation checkbox at the bottom of the page. Once the registration process has been completed, click on Proceed to Registration.
You will be directed to the next page where you will need to select the registration category and then click on the Apply for Fresh Registration button.
Fill in the registration form and click on Register.
On the next page, upload the supporting documents.
Click on Submit Application to complete registration.

Swami Vivekananda scholarship: Selection process

The eligible candidates are ranked in descending order based on their marks in the qualifying examination as well as their incomes. Vivekananda scholarships are awarded based on the availability of funds and the merit list. As a final step, the funds are transferred to the candidate’s account if the documents are in order.

Swami Vivekananda scholarship renewal process

If you wish to renew your Swami Vivekananda scholarship or apply for a Swami Vivekananda scholarship, you must submit your application to the authority within one month after your promotion to the next higher class. Please follow the steps below:

Note that you must pass all your exams on your first attempt in order to qualify for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Swami Vivekananda scholarship renewal based on academic performance:

A minimum of 60% marks must be achieved at the higher secondary to graduate levels.
A minimum of 50% marks must be obtained at the postgraduate level.

For Applicant grievance submission

Please click on the button indicating whether you are a Registered Applicant or Not Registered Applicant.
You must enter your Application Id, Password, and Security Code to log in if you are a Registered Applicant.
You must choose between Guest Registration and Guest Login if you are not a registered applicant.
The Guest Registration option requires you to enter your personal information.
If you wish to verify your registration with the Guest Login, you will need to enter your mobile number.
If you wish to register your grievance, you will need to fill out the grievance form and click on Submit after logging in.

For institutions grievance submission

The state of your institution will determine whether you should select the Registered Institution or Not Registered Institution button.
You will be required to enter your Username, Password, and Security Code if you are a Registered Institution.
If you choose the Not Registered Institution button, you will have the option of registering a grievance as a guest or logging in as a guest.
You will be required to fill out a form and then click on Register if you wish to register as a guest
If you wish to verify your registration with the Guest Login, you will need to enter your mobile number.
If you wish to register your grievance, you will need to fill out the grievance form and click on Submit after logging in.

For districts grievance submission

Click on the District Inspector (DI) button to register your grievance.
