Medhasoft Bihar Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

1.The Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana is for students who have passed the 10th grade

The candidate must have passed the matriculation examination in 2022 administered by the Bihar School Examination Board.

2. There is a Mukhyamantri Balika (Intermediate +2) Protsahan Yojana for the Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana.

The candidates must have passed the intermediate examination from the Bihar School Examination Board in 2022.

3. A new program is being launched for Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana called Mukhyamantri Balika (Snatak) Protsahan Yojana

Candidates must have been awarded a graduate or graduate equivalent degree after 31.03.2021 from constituent or affiliated degree colleges/institutions located within the state, that is, their examination results must have been published after 31.03.2021.

4. For Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Yojana

SC and ST girl students who have passed the intermediate examination from the Bihar School Examination Board in 2022 with 1st and 2nd classes are eligible.

• Students who are eligible for the scholarship must register through NIC’s Medha Soft portal, https://medhasoft.bih.nic.in.
• Upon successful registration, a user ID and password will be sent to the student’s registered mobile number and email address.
• After receiving the login credentials, the student can log into the portal and complete the application form.
• A bank account in the name of the eligible student must be opened in any Nationalized Bank, Recognized Private Bank, or India Post Payment Bank branch in Bihar.
• The scholarship scheme is open to eligible students until 28.02.2023.
