Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24 is offered by the State Scholarship Portal under the Government of Karnataka’s initiative. Through this scholarship, underprivileged students from Class 1 to Class 10 will be provided with monetary assistance. Scholarship funds will be directly transferred to the student’s bank accounts.

Students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) are eligible for the SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship. The State Scholarship Portal is the only place where eligible students can apply for this scholarship. The Karnataka government maintains it. What is SSP and SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24?

State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is a web-based application designed to assist students from underprivileged communities who receive financial assistance for their education. The Government of Karnataka and the e-Governance center approve pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarship applications. A student enrolled in the SSP portal is eligible to get state financial assistance for their education.

Eligibility and Criteria of SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24

  • There should be candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
  • Studying from Class 1 to Class 10 is required for candidates.
  • An annual family income of no more than INR 1 lakh should be maintained by the candidate.
  • In their last qualifying examination, candidates must have earned a minimum of 50%. To be eligible for the scholarship, students in Class 1 must not meet these requirements.
  • Scholarships are available to parents who do not have regular jobs and cannot provide basic necessities like education for their children.
  • Karnataka should be the candidate’s domicile.

Application Process SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24  

  • Candidates interested in applying for the SSP scholarship should visit the official website
  • To continue with the registration process, they must create an account and select ‘Pre-Matric’ options.
  • Please enter the SATS ID of the candidate and click on ‘Get Data’.
  • If all data displayed on the screen is correct, candidates should click yes to move forward.
  • After entering a mobile number, candidates will receive an OTP.
  • When using the OTP, candidates need to enter the password in accordance with the guidelines and click on the submit button.
  • A user ID and password will be generated for each candidate after the OTP is verified.
  • Candidates will receive their generated ID and password on their registered mobile phones.

  • The SSP scholarship portal can be accessed by using the generated id and password generated by the candidate.
  • Students must provide basic information such as Aadhar details, caste certificates, income certificates, NSP ID, and other mandatory information under the login page.
  • The next step is to click on ‘Save and Proceed’.

How to create an account on SSP Scholarship Portal 2023?

Candidate accounts can be created in the SSP portal by following the steps below.

  • The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is the official website for interested candidates.
  • After that, they need to click on the required link to select Pre Matric Scholarship.
  • Next, they need to click the ‘Create Account’ tab.
  • If candidates have their Aadhaar number, they should select yes.
  • To proceed, they must enter the details related to their Aadhaar and click on ‘Submit’.
  • A candidate’s mobile number and email address must be entered.
  • An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number.
  • Afterward, candidates should fill out their basic information, including their nationality and caste.
  • You will be able to create an account after you fill out all the information and save it.
