What is SSP and SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24?
State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is a web-based application designed to assist students from underprivileged communities who receive financial assistance for their education. The Government of Karnataka and the e-Governance center approve pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarship applications. A student enrolled in the SSP portal is eligible to get state financial assistance for their education.
Eligibility and Criteria of SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24
- There should be candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
- Studying from Class 1 to Class 10 is required for candidates.
- An annual family income of no more than INR 1 lakh should be maintained by the candidate.

- Candidates interested in applying for the SSP scholarship should visit the official website
- To continue with the registration process, they must create an account and select ‘Pre-Matric’ options.
- Please enter the SATS ID of the candidate and click on ‘Get Data’.
- If all data displayed on the screen is correct, candidates should click yes to move forward.
- After entering a mobile number, candidates will receive an OTP.
- When using the OTP, candidates need to enter the password in accordance with the guidelines and click on the submit button.
- A user ID and password will be generated for each candidate after the OTP is verified.
- Candidates will receive their generated ID and password on their registered mobile phones.

Candidate accounts can be created in the SSP portal by following the steps below.
- The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is the official website for interested candidates.
- After that, they need to click on the required link to select Pre Matric Scholarship.
- Next, they need to click the ‘Create Account’ tab.
- If candidates have their Aadhaar number, they should select yes.
- To proceed, they must enter the details related to their Aadhaar and click on ‘Submit’.
