NSP Scholarship Eligibility 2023: Everything You Need to Know

NSP Scholarship Introduction:

The cost of higher education can be high, and many students struggle to pay for it. The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) offers financial assistance to Indian students. To be eligible for NSP scholarships in 2023, it’s important to understand the criteria. A detailed breakdown of the requirements, including the necessary documents and application process, will be provided in this guide.

NSP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for the NSP Scholarship in 2023, students must meet the following criteria:

Academic performance:

A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grades are required in the previous qualifying examination. For students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PH categories, 50% of the grade must be earned.

Age Limit:

The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of application. Students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PH categories are eligible for an age relaxation of up to 5 years.

Income Limit:

An applicant’s family should not have an annual income of more than 6 lakh rupees.

Nationality:

Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Reservation:

Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories are eligible for reservations.

Other Eligibility:

Students must be enrolled in a recognized institution of higher education, such as a diploma, degree, or post-graduate program.

Required Documents for NSP Scholarship 2023

NSP scholarship applicants must submit the following documents:

Aadhar Card:

A valid Aadhar card is required.

Bank Account:

An applicant must have a bank account.

Caste Certificate:

Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories must submit a caste certificate.

Income Certificate:

An income certificate issued by a competent authority must be provided by the applicant.

Previous Exam Mark Sheet:

The applicant must submit the mark sheet from their previous qualifying examination.

Fee Receipt:

An applicant must provide a fee receipt for their current course of study.

The Cadence Scholarship Program 2023-24 Apply Now

The scholarship covers the essential educational expenses of undergraduate and postgraduate students in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Pune, and Ahmedabad.

The program has helped 422 deserving students pursue degrees and professional courses such as B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharma, and others since it started in 2016.

Cadence Scholarship Program Eligibility

Candidates must live and study in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune & Ahmedabad (Indian nationals only).
For Undergraduate course: You must have passed class 12 with a minimum score of 60%. Candidates in class 12 can also apply if they have good records.
For Postgraduate course: Are in the final year of their graduation program or have graduated.
You have to come from a low-income family.

NOTE:

Not eligible are students who are already pursuing graduation or postgrad courses.
